This years long distance bike ride is the extraordinary East Anglian Expedition. We will be cycling our 200 miles starting in Chelmsford on 13th June and heading towards the East coast then striking North towards Great Yarmouth and finishing up in Norwich (we do love a cathedral city!) on the 16th. The route will take us 33 miles from Chelmsford to Colchester via Little Braxted on day one. Day two will see us cycling around 56 miles from Colchester calling at Hadleigh and Sutton, then on to Ipswich Harbour before finishing the day at Felixstowe. On day three we will be cycling a further 62 miles along the coast from Felixstowe to Lowestoft. Calling at Orford Quay, Snape and Southward before arriving at Lowestoft. We will cover the final 49 miles on the last day of the ride. Cycling to Great Yarmouth and Ormesby before turning inland towards Norwich via Horning.
