Since we formed 25 years ago in 2002 till October 2026 Biking for Children in Care has raised over £1,200,000 for Become supporting the charity’s work helping children in care and young care leavers.
We have organised long distance rides every year with a group of 40-50 cyclists covering roughly 200 miles over three / four days. We formed the Biking for children in Care Company Ltd in 2024.
We have also raised funds for projects supporting children and families abroad, in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Namibia and Ethiopia. We have cycled all over England and into Scotland and Wales. We have ridden our bikes in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Holland.
Next year we are planning our long distance ride in France, crossing to Normandy on the ferry and setting off from Newhaven to Dieppe. For more information click here.
